    hey,
Looks nice and paintery, i like fishspawns idea.Maybe try bring his hand into view because i didnt figure that he was holding the stick for a while. Also the blackguys shoulder armpit area look a bit flimsy like they might snap off and i think it would look nice if the flowers were red like popys.

    keep it up .james

Hi Fedezz, I really like the way you painted these last 2 , along with the steam punk pilot and the mars guy on that last page, it has a oil paint look, I know you said you started painting the mars guy with oils, But i'm curious about the last 2 paintings , the one of the cowboy and the orc, are those all digital, I'd love to know what brushes your using, or are you using textures? Very great work.

    Joe.

Nice way of handling the foreground on that orc pic, good job. Love the cowboy, but the angle of his pelvis and placement of his legs doesnt seem natural compared with the rest of him. Keep it up.

i like the mood you've established in the last piccie there, reminds me of a spanish monk in an old chromograph! (im an addict of those, something so akward and stiff about them but poignant)
ha - is that quick draw slinger supposed to be that laid back with his hand in his pocket? nice stuff indeed sir! (mabye a wee bit of 'structure' on the face sketches...but they are only sketches)

    edit... but where's the CHOP?????

Hey, really nice sb. You've a lovely sense of color and a great control of style. Could only suggest you do some more facial studies. They never quite sell it for me. But this is looking sweet.
    Looking forward to more.

hey fedezz, liking the painter stuff. That lunging dude is awesome, although foreshortening his arm a little would add more punch. Bust is good but it needs more contrast. Where are the pirates these days?

amazing pages dude, my favourites are the gestures, really vivid and loose.
The experiments are looking great, and this one http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...4&d=1170271252 is really cool, love the whale in the top.
Keep up the good work man.

Hey Fedezz, sorry I haven't dropped by in a while. Cool stuff man. I like the woman's face and the goggle dude. I'd put some dark darks in the goggles somehow though, they're real midtone. But it's just a teaser so I guess I should see the whole piece first. I'll have to work hard to catch up to where you're at.

love the painty look to that one. I'd break the rules and mess with his forhead a little to accentuate the look of surprize/fear if thats what you're going for.

Awesome work on that gods at war piece. If you're trying to "paint more" you could always try taking your overpolished piece and selectively making some parts less detailed to establish more focus, either with brushes or a blending tool of some kind. Might be interesting to try a few different runs and see where its best to put focal points. On the other one... I don't think i'm going to say anything Keep up the good work.

The textures of your paintings come out very well. And I especially liked your colors in your whale-hunter (although he doesn´t seem to be able to swim
