thought i'd try some Markers to show a bit of value on this tank.
The perspective is off, and the lines don't look straight. You should use a ruler or guidelines for this kind of thing, and clearly establish where the horizon and vanishing points are. You don't have to includem them in the picture, you can crop the image, but its important to know where they are and how to radiate lines from them.
Do you like Feng Zhu?
EDIT: the lighting is also somewhat inconsistant... you placed a cast shadow on that window/visor, but did not include one on the ground level for the side going in the same direction. The side of the vehicle should also be in the shadow, unless there is another light hitting that side, but in that case there shouldn't be a cast shadow on that visor.
thanks for the reply.
i have seen a lot of feng's work and and know that he uses markers for his concept. with this concept i was trying to get that kind of style.
yeah the perspective is off i gathered, i'm trtying to build up my eyeballing skills.
i just wanted to make a quick sketch that had a somewhat sketchy feel to it.
thanks for the advise dude hopefully my next concept will be better.
