    similar style suggestions?

hey all, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for other artists that are reminiscent of, or use the same style (emphasis on sketches moreso than paintings) as any of these (some of my favorite) artists, note: they dont have to be professional, (whose websites I'll list below).
Some you may know, some you may not, and some are from our very own CA.org! im just really looking for style simliarities to stufy from, and to hopefully find more artists for my ever growing Artists favorites folder. if you think i'd already have the link, post it anyways im always curious!

the artists names are listed as i had them when i put them into my favorites folder, so you may know them by another name..

    (Wow thats alot of parentheses)

    Nivbed
    Jean-Francois Bruckner
    Blanc Fonce
    Fooyee
    Grendel
    HungerArtist
    Jeff Nentrup
    John Wallin Liberto
    Justin Sweet
    Kevin Llewellyn
    Mike May
    Nikko Lockertsen
    Philip Straub
    Rowan Cassidy
    Sketchling
    Socar Myles
    viag
    Zdzislaw Beksinski

much respect for all artists listed. i dont hope to copy their styles, just study them to see what it is about them i like so much

    much thanks,

    Proudest

I don't know many of those names and I don't really have time to go through the links, but I notice you have Justin Sweet but nt the master himself, NC Wyeth! And if you dig NC, you should look up Greg Manchess as well (who posts here occasionally). That's all I got for you right this minute

I think he means the Brandywine Museum, which is a little outside Philly. One of my favorite museums, so many awesome NC pieces

You'll probably also like Jon Foster, Phil Hale and Ashley Wood. Raymond Swanland of Oddworld fame is also very talented.

gory - yeah dave's right, i meant the brandywine river valley museum, or whatever it's called.. check it out sometime

Floris - i did have craig's site, but you reminded me how much i needed to look through it again..

Magic Man - i do have jon foster (amazing work!) but thanks for the other suggestions too, i noticed phil hale did work on the dark tower series by stephen king, great stuff. also ashley wood is really cool too, i think im into the whole dark/gritty style

Thank you so much for telling me about that. Brandywine River Valley Museum, I'm hitting it up the instant I get back to Baltimore. NC kicks so much ass.

Oh man, I'm so excited. I've never seen a Wyeth in person.

I you liked Foster & Hale you should check Rick Berry, I think he was the art tutor(?) of both of them.
