    paperX - thanks mate im still learning, good fun the old oils...

    um so ive been away a while ive got a bunch of junk to post, il post them soon when i can get proper photos and do some scanning etc...

    for now heres a couple of work in progress paintings

    Amazing paintings man. great stuff! damn i need to get back into oils again. Can't wait for the finshed versions, though they look pretty good as is.

    Skeiff - haha thanks man, these are actually finished now but i havnt got any photos yet

    bumskee - im thinking maybe some crab men for my next painting maybe flying spitfires over dover on a slant what you think buddy?

    The two girls with tats look good.

    This last one is shaded really nice. Makes her look like she's made of clay if you look at it closely. Really neat style.

    hey guys so ive been away for a while... i just got home from Copenhagen and a short stay in japan.

    soo busy bleh anyways il be posting a huge sketch and painting dump in the next few days just wanted to drop in and answer some replies

    clogik - thanks dude... um i try not too think about what im doing when im painting..um the larger ones take a while because i let the paint dry sometimes so i can try different techniques... smaller paintings like just a face i guess about 2 hours

    that left one looks great the way it is with the tight painting of the head and the big empty space there. would be a cool piece like that. looking forward to see where you take that thing though.

    i really like the oil paintings (and the watercolors a few pages back). very subtle rendering of the tattoos on this page. the way the values on the tattoo change with the form, etc.

    i like that last sideways redhead one too. as a vignette it's fine the way it is.

    great stuff. 5*'s from me. keep painting!
