These characters are great, they really seem like they are your own- it's a unique viewpoint. It seems like your digital painting has really improved rapidly, do you have any advice or insight on a particular approach to study?
I look forward to the next steps in this project, it's fun to look at.

“It is enough that we set out to mold the motley stuff of life into some form of our own choosing; when we do, the performance is itself the wage.”
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed." ~Albert Einstein

Guess you already know this, but I figured I'd show you a black & white version of that latest character you did. Again, some more contrast in places wouldn't hurt it I think. You're in that 10-procent-darker/lighter-either-way field again. The darkest spots are actually the bands on his arms and the shoulder pads, but that is the color of the clothing rather than the shading. You fixed it with the colors somewhat though.
Also, the fold across his chest coming from (our) right puzzles me, I have a hard time figuring out where it comes from. With a chest and arms like that, I'd imagine the fold from the left armpit is more logical. Also, the red color of the head and hands really stands out from the yellow of his jacket like a sore thumb, though I can't figure out what causes this. The high collar prevents reflection of color either way I guess, but the difference is a bit too much in my opinion.
Anyway, moar! Hope to see you in Brussels if we can arrange something

where the hell do i put these damn coins your thread speaks of?
the big fister is great man, the colors are nice but i think his head could use some coolin down, especially on the top of his head, and around the eyes. his eyes could pop a little more too, they are so cool lookin but they get lost in contrast. oh yeah, post more.

Don't slack mate, it's looking so good, but I must agree with yoitisi about the contrasting issue, though the red doesn't bother me.
