    well mostly i do one vertical line
    to map the height, then a rythim line
    on top of it, like an "S" or a "C" then
    some quick map of the torso and limbs,
    really simple and faint, and on top i just
    draw what i see on the photograph, the trick
    is to think on 3d, have a good sense of what wraps
    around what, and try to keep it a minimum lines ...

    but lot's of repetitions, even if is the same photo done 20 times
    everytime try to learn something from it and think . . .
    how would i draw this without the reference . .

    Ah, these figure drawings are wonderful! Your line accuracy is really great, and I dig the subtle changes in line width throughout the shapes.
    And a couple of those mechanical head studies last page look like evangelion heads... heheh. ;D Great stuff mate.
