ermm juz wondering if you got all of the sculpturing done in a day...Won't the clay dry up?? Or does it has to be baked to harden it? but still how did you manage to keep the clay moist? adding thinner, water?(btw great sculpturing)

klnw_84, he isn't using regular clay, it's a polymer compound called Super Sculpey, which needs to be baked to harden. It will dry out in a few months on it's own, but even then you can still work it with tools, it just gets a bit crumbly.

after starting my own, i have a few q's for you
1. when you are first blocking him in, is he hollow? or solid? or built up around the frame?
2. When you finish up, what do you do with the copper pipe? I mean, do you leave it in there? cut it off and fill?
This is awesome stuuf man...!![]()

Great its getting updated again
I couldnt help noticing tho, you use quite hefty "lumps" of sculpey when your doing your sculps, dont you have a real problem with cracking during the bake/cooling period?
or am i missing something ?

Hey Pete I’ve been thinking about working with sculpy again and looking at your tuts pushed me over the edge. I’m going shopping tomorrow and want to know what the most needed tools I should probably get are? I’ve moved since I last sculpted and am starting from scratch what are these materials gunna set me back and what can I cheap out on?
Captain, in his other tutorial, he talks about tools and has pictures of what he uses.

Wow - Such an honor to witness another sculpt by you Peter.
You're truly at the top of your game!
Can you give me an approximate time it takes to finish one of these?
Do you impose a deadline on yourself, Does the studio you work for?
Or do you just wing it?
