where the hell have i been...

Ok I keep getting sidetracked, but I've just started a new course in new media and I am left to my own devices for 5 or more hours a day infront of a computer with my wacom. Im connected to the net too, so I'll be uploading quite regularly.

its monday to friday so to start off something i did last night...
and on monday i'll start to add more.

didn't upload anything yesterday cause i was working on perspective, the dog up there was experimenting a little, for effect, but i want to get my perspective issues sorted because i usually shy away from enviroments and backgrounds. anyway this is the only thing postable from yesterday should have more later today.

I've got no idea why you're getting the cold shoulder. Nice enviro painting, pretty good figure. My crit for the figures would be to search out some intermediate forms: in post #2 the hand is just stuck right onto the wrist, no wrist bone to smooth the transition(nice painting non the less); then on this last figure the upper arm ends abruptly into the lower, use the supinators of the forearm(brachioradialis) to bridge the two forms. The style in post #6 is worth further exploration.

thanks armando, your right i miss little things like the ones you mentioned on hand and the arms, i need to do some more studies on those particular areas, especially the whole forearm, i find the forearm to be the most difficult area.

as for the style in post 6... i will be exploring it but more for design than illustration if you catch what im throwing...

i like the last two environments (with or without the girl). they have a bit more texture to them and i like their colours. the one with the doggie i find confusing in its composition/perspective and a bit flat.
i agree, would love to see some more in the last stylo as well as more analogue sketches/paint splashes. keep it up man.

Hey Tobin, thanks for stoppin by

The hand looks good. but the girl in post number 12 really stands out for me. Maybe its the hint of graphical design in there. I like it, thats for sure. Use the time you have to the fullest extent bro.

Looks like you are getting the hang of WIP. Just keep them coming. Your progress is already pretty good, you can only improve!
