    New here!

    Hey all, I'm new here.
I'm really looking forward to getting some good crits! All the people that watch me on my various art galleries are far too nice... they tend to tell me they don't see anything wrong with my images when I ask.
As for me, I'm a sequential arts major at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I will be starting my sophomore year in the fall.
My art is usually anthropomorphic animal artwork (oh noes!), though it is definitely all pretty much G rated.
I'm interested in per'aps getting a job as a children's book illustrator, or a concept artist for cartoons and videogames.
I also create, wear, and sell mascot suits- it is my primary occupation, and I make what I need monetarily that way. This site seems like it's geared towards 2D artwork only, so I don't think I'll be posting any of my costumes here, but expect to see a lot of 2D stuff from me!

Here are links to two of my galleries online if you are interested in seeing some of my artwork.

It's good to see more chicks in the SCAD Seqa department (I'm a senior).

Hi, Growly. From what I gather from DA, you're a female. There's a girl's only forum here, but you've gotta contact a user named davi to be able to access it.

I also see that you're slightly stuck in the cartoony animal genre of drawing. Try drawing more humans and animals from life, as realistic as you can & as much as you can, and you will see your cartoons improve rapidly. Always use reference photos to learn anatomy from, even when you draw in the style of cartoons.
