Hello everyone, i just joined lastnight and got my gallery up. As like everyone else i love comments and critiques of my work. Let me know what you think of my work, may it be bad or good.
There are so many brilliant artists here and i would like to be the best i can be so i need input. Being a self taught Furry/Cartoon artist i grow from my audience reviews, thank you for your time and consideration.
um is it just me... or did u not upload any pictures? o________o
My Pics are in my gallery, just click my name on the thread.
haha oh so it wasnt me phew thats good to know, (thought i had bad eyes) but its all sorted out it was a noob infront of my eyes! =) hahaha sorry just kidding anyways yeah u need to upload ur pictures here in the post so all the members dont need to check ur gallery all the time. using the "insert image" button. its really simple
Doh, My bad people.
Ok here are the examples
I would suggest you to visit the tutorials section of this forum and also the resources, search for andrew loomis books and read them and learn
But having no raining what do you think?
errr Training, that is i get rain all the time here in Oregon
I think you are awesome and if you put enough effort and dedication on reading books and traning, you will be a great artist
haha christian223 was that "i think you are awsome.." just a "push in the right direction" to make him go on? cus i dont think its awsome -___-
look at these pictures, what comes to mind at a first glanse? well for me: "oh i need glasses, everything is fucking dizzy and blurred, cant focus" and i mean it. Dont use blur tool, it just fucks up 0_o
in the first one, the dragon/deamon/diablo whatever thingy it is ;D has no light reflection from the fire that surrounds it... thats weird. and it somehow melts into the bakground too much 0_o also the perspective is all off (sry to be harsh, but really u need help right? )
The first picture is way to un-everything. No colour contrast, no perspective, no focus, no no no. Critique that picture is like making it again for you.
With the second, did you paint over a moviestill? If not then at least i can see some eyeskill. But you have to work hard, please. Don't expect to much as long as you post such pictures.
Start to gain some basic drawing skill, and lines, colours, etc. And then try again.
Your absolutely right, and thank your that's what Crtiques are for.
I have no training, i'm all self taught and i used a picture for reference for the Indiana pic.
Not to mention, I have only had a WACOM for 2 or 3 months
Yeah it was a push in the right direction I think everyone of us can know in what state of skill is in, so i hope the push helped, we should encourage eachother to become better
Thank you very much, That's all i was asking was a little support from fellow artists.
