    Collette's Brain-Dribbles

Despite my lack of understanding regarding forums, here I am attempting a sketchblog-forum-thingie. I believe it won't take me too long to get the hang of all these intimidating buttons and choices, so bare with me!
Anywho, here's an initial posting of random doodles from sketchbooks, notebooks, and floating files on the desktop:

Cool. I like the mountains, the four-armed woman and the harpy. I'd like to see more.

wow...great figures and poses...I really like that last one, although her left hand is scaring me...One great thing about your stuff is that none of it looks stiff, good job...

    Messy Updates

Totally random sketches of... stuff! Yup, mmhmm... Got some cheetahs and pirates, what more could you ask for? Sorry about the crappy quality - my scanner is down and I'm too lazy and too broke to go out and buy a new one. Ah well. Thank you peeps for the great feedback!

There is some nice work in here. Your cats look pretty solid, and you have obviously done a lot of work on the female form. I would say that some of the figures look a bit static; and I think it is because they don't look terribly deep. They are sort of flat. I would also say that the guys look a little...what is the word...Nancy? At least, more femanine than a man probably ought. Suggest you do some muscles studies and get some meat on these anarexic women. But that is only one man's opinion.

Smaller Updates... very late... very lazy

I've been so uninspired lately I feel like I've been frolicking in my own dead ideas. Ah well. So! I have some sketches from the zoo I still need to add, but I'm going to try and wait until I get a new scanner.

    More Updates... really late

It's been close to a million years since I've been back here... shame on me. I wish the forums posted from most recent to oldest, I like to see the improved work first. Does anyone know how to change that, or if it's even possible?
Anywho, here's a more recent batch of junk:

Also, I think my computer needs to be calibrated or something because on my working monitor, the image is usually a lot darker than on other monitors that I see my work from. My OS X doesn't have a brightness/ contrast bar under the display menu and I don't have the brightness keys on the keyboard, so if anyone else knows how to solve this problem or find the brightness controls on a stubborn mac os x, please let me know!!
    And thanks for the support!

It's been a long time since I've interacted on this site and even longer since I've updated this forum. I notice some improvement, but still look forward to suggestions, critiques, or even just a general "hi."

Mostly just some environment work here cause that's what needs the most work (most recent on bottom)...
