found a more lively brush.. feel I get alot more life in the drawings with this one, compared to the regular round one..
if anyone have any tips on good brush setsto download, mostly brushes that kinda mimic real life mediums, I would be very happy..

excellent stuff dude. i gave u some starz

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Nice stuff man. I think you could benefit more from anatomy studies, the way you are rendering your anatomy needs some help. Some areas need to look a bit more fleshy. Your pencils are looking good.

Joe, that last painting is coming along nicely. i can see the progress from each one so keep it up. and i see u did some tech drawings. nice details but perspective could use some help. I would highly highly recommend the Gnomon workshop DVD Drawing Hovercraft by Scott Robertson....it will make all of ur tech drawings 100x better i guarantee it. check er out. good luck

    mentler: thank you very much!

    Chupacabra: thanks man!

so I have finaly started art school.. have'nt really gotten into it yet, mostly information and things like that these first days.. at least now I will be pushed to draw or paint every day which should lead to me updating each day.. hope to improve alot this coming year, escpecially when it comes to colors..

tried acrylics for the first time in my life today, turned out kinda fucked up but guess It'll get easier..

Your pencil stuff is really great. The coloured stuff doesn't deem that strong, but that last character on post 44 is looking good.
    cheers

fantastic sketch linework, and great progress with your digital stuff. For a crit, I'd say try to work on your perspective.

    HIGH FIVE

voraz: yeah I know.. I'm still pretty unused to colors, have'nt used it much.. hopefully the painting two days every week in school will solve that..

    Ferg: thanks!

todays load from school.. in the early day we had life drawing ich I think went pretty well.. the rest of the day we had a class called (directly translated) form teachings, maybe I should just call it form.. it as mostly the teacher talking about composition and disscutions.. but also we had to do these drawings of plants where we were only supposed to look at the shapes inbetween things, the negative shapes is what it's called right?

speedy10: thank you for the kind words

oma: thank you! I work mostly with 2H for the really loose sketching, HB for refining the sketches and 2B or 3B for the rakest areas.. Mostly use HB for shading but I use softer pencils for that to sometimes..
the bird is smudged with my fingers here and there, other than that it's just drawing like I always do it..

Here is a cardesign I did today, very much inspired by Harald Belker..

I have to ask you, where do you study? I am from Sweden myself, and need to find some good art school as soon as possible. Any tips?

Anyway you're drawings are looking good. Especially the last guy is really cool, haha! I love how you make the eyes (as on the fish tattoo!) shine.

    http://www.folkuniversitetet.se/

    lycka till med skolplanerna.. peace!

hey! got a moleskin sketchbook in the mail today and damn! I love it! the paper is great and the feeling of drawing in a quality book instead of a dull spiral sketchbook makes it alot more fun, something to keep and look through.. lovely!

    these are the first pages

Cool sketchbook, I really don't have anything to crit about the technical aspect myself. Btw, that sketch of various hand gestures is my favourite.
