Neat stuff. I really like that canyon(?) sketch, it would be great to turn into a digi, maybe with some reff for color/texture? Keep posting so i can't catch up!

Post 149 is great, your digis show a lot of improvement. And that figure study with the black outlines is one of my favorites.
Doing digital and traditional practice at the same time is the way to go, so keep at it!
    Cheers!
ps: my gf loved the last one

Hey james! You are getting way better! Done a lot of studies and it shows tremendously! You seem to have the same problem I do and that is proportions. I can't offer any advice on it because I'm still struggling with it. Keep up the good work!

You could use work on proportions, but don't sweat it too much, the best way to get better is to keep working at this furious pace you've got going. Pick something you want to get better at, like proportions or color or whatever, and concentrate on making that one thing awesome for the piece you're doing. Make the rest of the piece as good as you can, but really concentrate in that one area. I think that will be the quickest way for you to get better.

sweet tank man. Like the alien thing too. Try spending a lot of time on one piece, incoporate everything you've learned with the milions of sketches. That'll give everyone an idea of where you're at, and we can give you better crits and such.

Love the tank. After looking at it for a little, i think the back has some perspective issues. Keep up the drawing.

Bridgeman studies are looking great! Even with pen quickies, at least do some gestural structure so you don't get wonky proportions like in that 4th one. Keep up the good work.

love that one. Thats oils right? Do more of it, shows a lot of potential.
Work on line quality, smooth clean lines.
When rendering, dont go crazy and put the lines where you want em. Think of it as a 3d object and shape it.

Hi there. Bridgman rocks. Your studies are looking good, just listen to fishspawn advice on wonky proportions. Me likes specially those unfinished hands from your last batch. Oh, and the tank from post 164 is great.
    Cheers!

Awesome progress! With your digi, i love the robot, but i can't tell what that is he's hitting (resting his arm on?) so you may want to define that a little more. The pencils and heli are looking great. With the climbing/repelling robot dude, watch the hands/feet size and he either has too thick of a torso or no butt. Keep up the great work!

Hey james. I actually really like the digi in the post before this one, i think it has promise. Your current one has too much texture. I know you probably just whipped it out quick, just saying something about it.

Pencils are lookin better. We haven't seen anything from life from you in a while, get to it!

It's good to see you keep improving on your anatomy sketches. I like the evil babies, maybe digitize one of them? Keep up the daily updates, improvement is constant!

That digitized baby is evil!! Totally diggin what you did with him.
Osama's looking good From these last pencils I can tell that your hatching improved a lot. Less random and rushed, and it follows the direction of the form. Specially noticeable on the robot dude.
    Keep it up!
