Mr.Blonde: the fourth one almost looks like a landscape of a lake.
This thread should be interesting
gotta give this thread some love.
just finished, but the beauty of abstracts is that there's always work to be done!
How about this one?

Two oil paintings, sorry about the blurriness of the first image, theres some sand texture in it that gets washed out in the photo....
36" X 36"
24" X 24"
here are two that belong together
That top one would look nice on a shirt, neg! Keep em comin!!
Neg, these are awesome. Would make cool posters or prints...Just don't know how big or what style...nice though. They all are pretty pimp. Great thread Idea!
gotta keep this thread up!
I don't usually care too much for abstract, but those two Neg did are amazing. Really, you should think about making prints or a t-shirt or something out of those.
SanBase, your stuff always blows me away. Really cool!
Great stuff guys! I too love making abstracts:
Isric - can i see a bigger version of your third? That's fcuking awesome. Great rythm and colours!
dm3da - I like colors. Very nice.
Awesome work everyone...its nice to see the abstract getting some love.
My contribution...listened to Shpongle the whole time while painting this...I think it had an effect.

I wonder what the equivalent of a shit ton is to the metric tonne we use here in Canada.Originally Posted by Mr.Blonde
This is an interesting idea for a thread. Hopefully some familiar names who aren't known for their "abstract" work will post. Whether the material derives from an attempt to create abstract art proper or just from warmup/calisthenic activity, it would be really fascinating to see a full spectrum of approaches represented here.

Great thread idea! Nice stuff everyone. I'm starting to get into some abstract design work too - geometric stuff. Here's my contrib. Peace.
