    Mutants and humans

I'm finally starting a sketchbook on here due to peer pressure, so i'll start with some of my clothed figure stuff from last semester.

Not too shabby. I like the fourth one the best. The fifth one seems a bit odd too me though. The only thing I suggest is drawing more from life and working on anatomy and proportion. By the way, are you in college or high school, if you don't mind me asking? Keep working man.

I like your work! You've got some really nice drawings. I've got to say that I am a fan and that I'll be watching your sketchbook.

So all my threats finally worked huh? , I really like that 4th one, do more stuff like that, it's the S curves that make them stand out. So I would say also try to think about how to impliment that in some of the stuff from your head.

looks like bill sanchez passed the torch again (he only passed me germs) i like the interior scene.. really 70's illustrator-type...except without the tracing... you have an interesting imagination, dont let the academy rob you of it! (like what happens to almost all the workshop fiends) keep at it man

mainloop- after looking at your avatar, im hoping whatever bill passed on to you has a cure. its not going to be the same without him this summer... i try to keep my imagination in good shape, i know what you mean about workshops and school. "you can only draw well with good refference" is something that i hear way too much, but i have some good books to keep me inspired.

yeah, you have some good stuff in here, nice figure work. if i were to crit though, i would say that your mutants don't look mutie enough, try putting fingers or pieces of hands and feet growing out of the face, or fingers growing along the vertebre down the back, that would make them looks somewhat mutiefied in my opinion. keep up the good work.

And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

ArtZealot: yea, its kind of depressing how much more human my mutants keep getting as i learn the figure better and better. i definitely used to do way more surreal mutants. im sure ill get back to that when i post my next sketchbook now that im thinking about it.

This sketchbook just kicked my ass! I mean, I open it up and BOOM... your clothed figures sucker-punch me in the jaw. Then your non-ref mutants go and donkey-kick me in the crotch. While I'm twitching on the ground your vehicle and environmental studies repeatedly kick me in the gut until I'm vomitting blood. Then, when I think it's all over, your digital painting stops to take a piss on me!... eh... enough fight talk. You have great style and pen-work, and I love your hand studies. Keep posting!

anticonnor- thanks for all of the undeserved praise, i'll make sure to visit you in the hospital. don't worry, ill keep posting until i run out of storage space.

ashrumm - thanks, i'll make sure to keep up with what you're up to also. (either in person or on here)

    evildisco-thanks

White Rose-the pink polio came from finding really cool pictures of those old body braces they used to use, and having fancy new colored pens. as for the thought process, i dont even know. i dont think i think that much.
