is it bad that i judge my artistic magnitude based on how many stars i have? ill draw a piece...then post it, then the next day, look at the stars and see four stars...and say to myself "nope, still not good enough". lol

Wooly mully! Looking good Marco, particularly your most recent painting. Great colors and cool pet. Also like the girls pose with the huge creature - very sexy.

The only thing I'd like to see from you right now is some tightening up on your focal points, like in the face of the most recent one to draw attention away from her chest.

Keeps it ups dude, theys lookin' greats.

Help u out!? it looks amazing (especially the water)
Maybe the right side's a big boring perspectivewise, so u culd insert some kinda landing stage there (for boates).

    Great sketchbook by the way!

I just joined this site and as a guy who's career is focusing animating particles, I love coming here. Been on all day today! It's totally refreshing and makes me want to bust back into my old sketchbooks, and ya know what? I think I will! From what I've seen so far yours has been the most appealing to me (and there is still tons more sketchbooks I'm yet to look at!). Just wanted to say your work is amazing and I'll be keeping close tabs on this book *subscribes* pld:
I went through the whole art college thing, life drawing and whatnot, and am just ashamed in myself for not keeping it up over all these years. Thanks for the boost in inspiration!

PS- In refrence to your last female character; I have a black gf so I know what you mean Those proportions look juuuuust fine

Wow, hey, that girley your working on, its all simple water brush? I can't figure out how to use this dang brush, It doesn't seem like I can blend like I do in PS, with color picker, instead, even with LOW opacy, like 5%, When I color pick and paint it just keeps making darker and doesnt smooth out the line strokes, And when I try to paint a light color over a dark, it just makes the darker color darker. Any tips with this brush? I like the look. Also what bleed resaturation % do you stick around?

smitherines- thanx a lot man...seeing that hamburger in your avatar just made me break my "no eating past 9" diet. i enjoyed your thunderdome piece by the way. way to step it up and get in there with the competition!
matt-gamer- thanx man. lol. yea, i saw birds, rofl
oma- rest assured, im leavin that one like that. rather than correct, i like to just start over, and keep everything in mind for the next one
Mr Joe- aight dude, this is how ya do it. get painter 9.5 big difference there. they have the brush "NEW simple water" use that for your color, but for SHADOWS< youse "simple water" on a layer above. be sure to dry it after you merge it too
    Tensai- booty is great. lol.

Hey painter 9 has new simple water too, SO after layering in colors you dry it then paint a new layer ontop for shadows? Or Paint both layers, then merge it, then do more blending? I'll mess around with it, thanks for the info on the brush.
