What most people don't know is that all these happened in about 4 seconds. I've been at his house and studio ever since Montreal and he turns these fuckers out faster than you can blink.

This is great stuff, Rob. I will stare at you tonight while you sleep, imagining what is going on in your beautiful face, haha.

Man that last red robot is pretty cool. What kind of markers did you get ?

I never got the chance to ask you what kind of study you did cause you seem to have a lot of tech stuff

I like the grey rendering style

I would put forth the theory that, not knowing anything of your likes and dislikes, your love for robots is evident. Is my theory correct? Great stuff!

Heh, some of those monsters are sick! Great technique...how did you add the highlights?? Are they digital or hand drawn?

    Cool stuff.

Loren, you scare me immensly, wish you didn't have to leave dude, miss ya already. Will get together soon enough. Right?

Jmyser: Thank you, I've had a facination for fish lately... though I can see it turning to birds soon. Bought some new colours, wouldn't mind marking up some colourful feathers.

Simon: Thanks. I bought some more prismacolours and some cool white-opaque water-base markers (I love these things)

That fat kid: Thanks dude. That was a really great day, wandering around Montreal without any direction. I just wish I had a chance to browse your sketchbook while I was sitting next to you.

Comixnut: It's not that I love robots, it's more or less that tech is one of my weaknesses and I choose to surround myself with it constantly so that I can get better at it.

Mull77 - Thanks... the sicker the better The highlights are added with a water-based white Sharpie. It's probably one of my favorite supply finds in the last month. It's nice because if it's too bright, you can cover it up with marker again... something the oil-based Sharpies won't do. so it's WATER-BASED OPAQUE WHITE SHARPIES all the WAYYYY!!!!!

Thanks again guys... I hope to find some more time soon so I can browse your sketchbooks, right now it's pretty hectic for me... I'm trying to clean up my stuff for Ubisoft to have a look at.

ivy'sgrandkid: Thanks. Nope, it's not anti-abortion, was just some reference sketches that I got way to carried away on.

darkchild: lol. for some reason, any time some one says "blows my mind" i want to say "make sure you wear a hat after, it will cover up the mess" (sorry, bad joke, i know) anyways, thanks alot.

Eyal: My tall Israeli friend... woah big boy... me love you long time. Did you see OUR collab?

Things are kinda slow in the sketchbook department in the last few days, and will be slow for the rest of the week until I can get my LMS entry done. Once all the entries are posted for the LMS, i'll post my progression for it.

    Cheers,

    - Rob
