really beautiful sketches mate. That solid black gives some nice things over there.Keep up the good work
Marc: Thanks mate. Anatomy is from Bammes.
cout<mecha: Hey bud, work's goin' fine, almost ended though.
Pigeonkill: Personal projects are unlikely, heh, it'll be hectic job hunting.
kingkostas: Thanks mate, glad you like the black.
A few more sketches.
nice sketches, I like the top right silhouetted guy one alot!
I'm liking the character in the top right sketches. Very original. Showing off the skills in the figures department as well this update. Would love to see a character sheet!
kidult: Hey ya, cheers bud.
cout<mecha: Don't know about original, lol, thanks.
Some studies so I can rework this piece

he looks pretty solid not sure of the back leg (his right) tho, could be a bit more curved inwards from the shin down. Also the thigh on it looks just a bit to small. Nit picking really as I feel the pose is working pretty well
The technological rectangles seem small and don't complement the buffness of the figure.

great to see you updating with some new sketches, man!
the studies look spot on. looking forward to more (and not waiting for long this time ).
and thanks so much for the pointers on my work, it's good to have you back!
kidult: Thanks for the crits.
armando: Thanks for droppin' in, dude. I will try some variations.
Flaskpost: Thanks, bud!
monotony: Cheers man. I hope you won't have to wait long *cough*.
Huge BSG nerd right here.
good stuffff man! BSG is fucking awesome.
with the face studies and studies in general, i´d recommend that you make that extra effort, to really nail the likeness and construction.
just be patient and let it take some extra time.
a good tip is to look at the drawings in a mirror as well.
Only time for a brief visit now... but will return very soon and give you some more (you have 20 dang pages to go through )
Lookin really good, though, through the last two. Seems like you've made some serious advances in skill.
Okay... phew! 20 pages later... and scene.
A very nice ride, made all the sweeter when I see the difference and much greater confidence you had after that major self doubting in the middle of the thread. It just goes to show that if you keep at "this stuff", you certainly do get better.
I've often felt a lot like you did, where you where you lost all objectivity about your stuff, and wondered if that was as good as you could get--where you just wondered if being mediocre was okay, or if you were willing to live with that.
It was obvious in those stages that you could get better; so it's very satisfying to see just how much better you've gotten since then. Very inspiring and reassuring.
This one was very good, though it's from a while back... your imagination work is interesting and getting much more expressive.
Keep it going. You can't spell epicenter of awesome without "epic" and you've certainly started one
