I've been busy with none art projects... very busy... I still want to do this for a living but I doubt I'll ever get the chance. Anyways... now that the pitty party is done... heres a wip and final of my latest image.
Photoshop CS2 / 5 hours / 9x12 150 DPI
blue line for basic layout...
overlay of anatomy...
overlay of clothing...
Top is basically finished... middle is half way... and shins down are base color...
After being happy with the detail I adjusted the colors and curves... and FIN!
I like it. A lot. It's really good. I wish you had put a background so we'd know why there was blue light on him
Anyway, the only things I see that look weird is his right leg being too skinny, and the glasses on his head. One of the lenses is too big or too small. But that might have been on purpose.
The character actually looks really comfortable.
I'm only laughing on the outside.
My smile is just skin deep.
If you could see inside I'm really crying.
You might join me for a weep.
i think his head is too big. Overall it looks good though. thanks for the work through
But what does he....do?
You make it look so easy. He can do without the necklace - maybe a tight beaded pattern around his neck would fit his outlook. A neon orange anywhere on his body would also give that modern "sci fi punk" style. For now, words are coming out of his mouth in 3d. Fix the gloves - the loose frame of the material around his wrist is distracting. World War 2 battle of the bulge in his pants. I think he needs a bigger pant size : /
Hope any comments have helped.
Keep doing you
his legs look too short .. or his body is too long. but excellent color coloring and vaules. =).
dude. this character looks like he is ready to kick ass. i love it
You make it look too easy!
thanks for the crits from all... Gogles do look funky... hmmm hes not wearing a necklace... head... perhaps a tiny bit too big... legs... Now that I look at it the right foot is to small... pants... the bulge stays! I'll run this back... the character is a Engineer on a space craft called the Holister... his name... Artimus... main character of a personal project
sorry for no background... wanted to focus on the character... the blue light made him feel less flat.
