vinc's story about moving backward while looking forward [[[new stuff on page2]]]
Hi, these are some pictures i made this year. Some are from german airforce winterassault-training (the snow-ones) some are spontan spots which my eye just wanted to catch.
I did all pictures with my cellphone, a sony erricson w800i (2Megapixel-cam) it is not a real good cam when looking on professional cams, but it is one of the best in a cellphone until last year.
Have phun with it and feel free for C'n'C
Now stuff far below and on my website

June 13th, 2006 #9
thanks for the backup, samsite
claude, i am trying to make one with your favorite curves, but not yet.
and to tell the truth... i tricked you on nr5, the flags dont look like that, i was using some of my photoshop skills there to strengh there color. but thanks for the critics anyway. maybe you can give a little example on one of mine.

Ooops: My bad, i meant number 12, i was counting the photos, and didnt know there were numbers, yes.. the one of the fields is my favourite and is the best color co-ordinated.
@Sam: 14 is nice, but i would personally work a little harder on the colors.
16 is a bit blurry and out of focus.
I have nothing against cell cameras.. they land in another category all together.

Godamnit... some of those pics are of better quality then the ones on my fuji S9500 superzoom, it cost me 550 bucks
Those kind of things can make me like.. furious...
Nice job tough on your pics ^^
marvelous pics for such a small lens/camera

but working with a real cam is much better. with the w800i you can make really cool snapshots esspeccially when the scene has too much light, but when there is only diffuse oder less light you can throw it away.
here another shot from my borrowed EOS 350D. i am really thinking about buying it this month.

Not a big fan of #22. It looks like you took a picture of a mouth, went into Photoshop and slid the hue slider to the left some. It doesn't appeal to me. As for #23, there are some cool bubles or something going on in the glass, but I think you could probably do more interesting work experimenting with liquid and whatnot, at least judging by the quality of your previous work.

Wow, these are great.
On 15 I can see that the guy on the left is comfortable with the Vodka, but the one on the right, is he happy or just really scared of it?
Again, these pictures are pretty damn good, thanks for sharing them. No.6 is brilliant.

Yes I mean no.6, at least I think I do. The one beneath the Hamburg football and above the Corridor. If it's a real bird I'd be quite scared, but because the camera has alot of noise, saturated, etc. then it's easy to just imagine it as being a real bird in which case I think it's quite a funny picture, but I wouldn't dare take a picture of a real bird which looked at me like that.
The thing I like about the most recent picture is the way their clothes alternate.
Dark Light Dark Light Dark Light
It seems the bikes do also: Dull; Shiny; Dull. Thank heavens their shirts don't though, that'd just be too much.
There seems to be some photography talent associated with Germany on this board, but Stine hasn't turned up in a bit by the looks of it, that's a shame.
The photo might be a little dark though, have you tried playing about with the brightness/contrast/etc. a bit more? Just to see how it looks.
June 18th, 2006 #24
the bird is made with wood and color and something else that feels like a mini-fur. our neighbour put it between some flowers years ago and now there is some spider silk around.
i did the bikers with more contrast, but i like the darker one more, cause it bacame really grainy with it. my tft has really strong light, but if it is to dark, then this is yours.

Yeah, 25a is definately better. I hate saying this, for the same reason I hate calling things pretty, but 25a has got a lot of mood, more so than b definately.

Is he a drunk German man? If so your drunk German men are almost as bad as our drunk Englishmen.
Don't worry, because the man in red clashes with the guys in Green I shall work to erase him from my view anyway.
Do you have any more 'teams' lined up? Maybe you can get an entire World Cup thing going on, you know you want to.
Furthermore, Hamburg looks like a fantastic city.
June 19th, 2006 #30
it is, for sure! you should visit it once in your live. @Rhynome
And yes, he was drunk, but kind, he showed those greeneys the surrounding after this, really funny.
Maybe i can get some more teams, but i wouldt sign a treaty on this . I gave my cam away today and will buy a Nikon D50 soon (got a perfect offer from a nikon-servicepoint salesman) I just hope this isnt a fault after all, cause i learned to love the EOS 350D!
