    Staz Johnson, new website

Some of you may already have seen this in my comic art thread in the Finally Finished section, but for anyone else who may be interested, I now have a basic website up & running. There's not much there at the moment other than a biography & lots of comic book artwork eye candy, but if you get 5 minutes, take a look & let me know how it could be improved. Bear in mind, I didn't build the site (all this interweb stuff is alchemy to me) so don't get all technical with me...it'll just go over my head, keep it simple & I'll pass on any comments to the people responsible.

Nice congrats on the new site staz, its simple and efficent enough, not really sure about the text that scrolls but the background that doesnt, and how the tiles work at high resolution, but thats minor. It certainly has a very comic book feel.

Thanks for looking. The scroling text idea was simply a way of not having to create a huge b/g long enough to accomodate all the text.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'tiles', do you mean the circular thumbnails?

No no, I meant the background image repeats after a certain point, while its not one huge background to make lots of space for the text like you said, it is something that cought my eye right off the bat. I could well be looking at this far too criticaly Like I really like the way the background functions in the banner you made right here in the thread, but my monitor has a wider aspect ratio then most normal ones and I find (on the site) it repeats at an odd point, like very slightly offcenter from the logo, giving it a mildly awkward feel. But thats tooootally nitpicking, its perfectly fine its really not worth worryign about, it doesnt intefere at all i was jes in extreme crit mode The thumbnails are great no problem there.

Thanks for looking at the site everyone.

Mirana-Well spotted on the typo, damn I must have read & re-read thet biog 20 times & I never spotted that. I'll see if it can be fixed.

AngryScientist-Glad you thought it had a strong comic feel, I really wanted the site to be kinda fun & irreverant, without being dumb...sounds like we got the balance just about right.

    Tough chick huh?....Ooookayy.

    Slash- Thanks man.

    Poshspice -You gotta love Drunna!!

    Main Loop- Thanks.

timpaatkins-Those were the original lyrics to that song... perceptive of you.

m o я p h o- Thanks, btw, you have any luck with those artboards yet?

    Thanks again guys.

Kian - It's apparently an E Nomine track called "Schwartz Sonne".

(Sorry for the derailment, Staz - you are mighty indeed! )
