Great work man, impressed with the last 2 updates!
Making leaps and bounds with your value work, form looks great. Watch the 3/4 views still, you're cutting off the back of the head, makes the faces look squished and flat. Back of the head should extend farther back still.

Improvement is starting to show through now your hard work is really paying off

Great cast study man, but yeah, spend as much time as you can on the lines stage and make sure everything fits (reasonably) well. See the subject as a direct copy in your head and on the paper, if a shape or a line dosnt match on the paper, compare it and correct.

    Keep this shit up anyway

Great improvement going on in here! One thing I notice is your hands are definately coming together. Those recent muscles are good too. For faces, have you checked out Loomis? He has some great stuff on it.
Keep it up man! I'll try and stop by more often, I like where this SB is going!

good update man, your imagination stuff is improving alot I think, this one sticks out for me http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...3&d=1153915784

Pay attention to the forms of the hand, you are drawing your fingers way too pointy and clumped together, I guess they are just gestures but keep a lookout for that in the finished pic!

That last SP is looking good dude, keep on doing them

Good things happening here mate. Few things - get consistent with your lighting - in this second last pic the shading on the dudes helmet is not consistent with that on his face. Often it is helpful to plot the lightsource on the page as you have done in the sp.

And I say this to almost everyone, even though I am not one to speak: pay more attention to your linework. Lines are more powerful but more difficult than shading.

    keep it up mate
    ciao

Nice SB so far! Your rendering is really nice, and there is a lot of improvement showing from the beginning. Nice anatomy studies too. The one crit I have is that your proportions are off a bit. Someone mentioned Loomis - definitely get his books if you can, I think they are still floating around on the internet for free. Another good book is "Drawing the Head and Figure" by Jack Hamm. They are both helpful for studying construction and proportion. Keep up the good work!

its good to see you looking for the planes of the face keep it up my suggestion is to back it up with some more study of skull and facial muscles.

Great SP man, looks like you are starting to develop techniques on how to draw from life, what I try to do is think of things as geometric shapes, not as single lines, that way you will see how different pieces relate to eachother much more easily. Bah, its hard to explain, I guess just draw lots from life, your brain will figure out different techniques and ways of thinking after a while, and it definently becomes easier everysingle day

Good hands aswell, keep thinking in blocks like that, seems to have helped you alot, keep in mind the proportions of the fingers though.

    KEEP IT UP BIZNATCH

    Good good !!
I see lots of pics and that's very good
Keep working hard. But i have a question, are you using a mech pencil ? Cause it seems that you're at the limit of it's contrast. Or maybe its just you who keep things lighter =)
