    WTF are those for real?

i smell fake, some of them look heavily traced/photoshopped/whateva whereas other areas look very poorly done, e.g. the collar in the "Presidente LULA" one.
    discuss!

    (sry if this is old)

    Photoshopped? No.
    Traced? Sure.
Are they "real drawings?" Of course. Why do you find that hard to believe? They're skillfully done, he's got good technique and value control. They are what they are.

notice how the Christ "Passion" one shows much more detail and contrast?
that to me is the beauty of drawing or painting over photography.
there's so much the camera either leaves out or takes too much of.
it's much better to be selective with what you want to focus on instead of just visual recording.

anyhoo, there's my rant on why illustration is better than photography

(no offense to the photographers out there, that's an art in and of itself)

Yea... its not art, its busy work. The kinda thing you draw for a month because you have no inclination of creativity to create something new/original.

What the fuck? Not art? It's just as much art as what you guys do. There's good art and there's bad art, according to your subjective opinion but just don't say this isn't art.
