    A Problem with Painter Classic

Forgive me if something like this has already been posted, but I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere I've looked.

I hope someone here will be able to help me with a problem I've been having with Painter Classic.

Painter Classic and my tablet aren't getting along right now. Any time I open a new document in Painter Classic and try to draw using my tablet, the lines I draw show up in a different place than where the cursor is pointed. The lines show up about two inches to the left and up, instead. This doesn't happen if I use my regular computer mouse to draw--everything works fine. However, the tablet mouse also doesn't work. This does not happen when I use other programs. OpenCanvas and Painter 9 all work fine with my tablet. (Unfortunately, despite the mass amount of money Painter 9 costed me, I still really like Painter Classic.)

I've tried resetting my tablet defaults anyway, as well as Painter Classic defaults. However, none of this has worked. I would just reinstall the program over again, but I lost my installation disc when I moved houses.

Oh, also, my version is 1.0. I've had PC for a long time. >.<

So if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be really grateful. (:

Set your desktop resolution permanently, then uninstall wacom drivers and reinstall them. If you change the resolution again you'll have the same problems you're having now.

I've had the same issue. Drove me nuts for the longest time. Portus' instructions should fix you up.
