I took the red version too
I really like the theme! This should be lots of fun!
Besides, having an open theme lets us practice any technique or skills we want, and it's always interesting see other people's interpretations.

Well, I was really inspired by the topic, so let me introduce you to the first Fairy Dragon with a Fuzzy Tail of the SSG XXV group sketchbook!!!! (although I'm not sure if I interpreted the "fuzzy" word the right way...) I'm also considering adding colors to it...
    Anyway, here it is!

    SSG XXV group sketchbook.
It kinda looks like a weird chicken, actually

    Cheers!

    cute
i think it looks like a chicken because the mouth is shaped like a beak. the feet actually remind me of turkeys.

I whole-heartedly approve of the beak Ent. well done

    -------------

the tail isn't exactly fuzzy and it's not the usual sort of fairy dragon, but

I meant to go a different, better, direction with this, but my tablet wasn't working so I just added some pastels

    Thx panda, entroid, and eskay.

faux - That dragon looks a bit too beefy to call himself a fairy dragon -- he's likely to eat my hairy beaked thing and the plump meat nugget from ent.

grue - well, snakes manage pretty well with no legs thx for joining in.

Faux: I like the dragon but... where is his fuzzy tail???

Grue: thanks for adding some more variety to the group sketchbook! I like it, maybe if its tail was prehensile it could sleep hanging from branches, just like bats do...

Faux (again): Yeah, it has been more than a week since the first one, I haven't even finished coloring the dragon, unfortunately, but I guess I'll just post it in my sketchbook once it's done.
About the topic, I was playing around with the 3ch generator and this funny theme came up: "A tattooed panda runs towards a delivery dude in a steampunk universe".
I am aware that there is a weekly activity involving 3ch, but these would be just sketches (they don't have to be finished or anything like that), and we wouldn't have to do the whole topic if we don't want to. It would be up to ourselves if we just want to do the tatooed panda or a steampunk environment or a delivery panda or whatever...
Let me know what you guys think!

    Cheers!

Entroid: I laughed out loud with your suggestion and not because it is bad
It is because I have never drawn neither a panda nor a delivery dude and although I love China Mieville to bits I have not done a steampunk enviroment either. It will be a nice challenge. I vote we do it!

    leaving the group

This is late in coming, but, I'm going to have to leave the group guys.

I've been accepted into university, and start on the 23rd. I havn't been active in the group since I joined, which I'm sorry for, but I definitely won't have time for it from now on.

I'll remain a member of the site, and might join in the DSG every once in awhile, but I can't say how often or anything.

Once again sorry for being a bit of a dead member, and I hope you guys find someone else to help revive the group!

I wish you all well and maybe I'll see you around the site in the future.
