Nice work here, specially love those faces. Only crit would be to watch your lines, try not to chicken scratch them, try to make them one fluid line. And I second what kaos said, scan the anatomy studies!

I will try to draw better lines. Should i etch the raw sketchlines before i draw the new one?
(i hope someone can understand my english )

And I'll scan the anatomy studies.

    edit:
here is a new one, took about 40mins, without ref.

Your form and anatomy seems to be coming on really well but what bothers me about your stuff is your line.

This is something i suffer from as well and only recently and im making a concious effort to try and keep my lines clean and think about it a little more before i go at it.

I think your anatomy and what not would stand out a lot better if it was that little bit cleaner, as is it looks a little bit messy and hard on the eyes... even though it looks right.

Im learning myself so dont take what i say to heart

hey man, these studies are really quite strong but you really have to improve your line-quality, dude, it is way to messy in most of these drawings and it will really hurt you in the end if you don't start working on that as soon as possible ( well at least it hurt and still hurts me as hell, lol)

Keep at it, mate, I wanna see some more!!

    Thanks for comments.
The anatomy studies a realy dirty because I had drawn each of them in a few minutes .
I drew that studies to understand how the muscles work and where they are and did't spend any time on the way how beautiful i do the lines.

I hope you see that these studies not here to show how nice i draw ^^

btw is the lineart here also bad? i have to work harder on it *grml*

thanks for the good critics(almost on my style)^^!

your line work is very messy as already stated, even with one you had a question about. You are using the "chicken scratch" effect to create your shapes. Drop your line and leave it, thats how you will be able to clean things up a bit. First you may want to start out light, lay out everything really light at first, then go in with darker, cleaner lines.

Also take your time, there is no need to rush, as you get better, you will get faster. cleaner and more accurate, so just slow down and relax. Don't fight the clock.

Hey great sketchbook so far ! keep it up!
Well, as I have discovered my self, its better to do longtime and well done
studies compared to do rushed stuff, that you wont remember a shit of next day so stay patient!

Try to do some linework, wich isnt shaded or anything, cause right now your
very messy with your lines! but good job!

Thanks for the tip to draw the line and leave it alone... you was right as you said that i draw a line more then one time.

and please do not give any more attention on that studies... usualy its not my
    style to draw so(!) scratchy

    Ok...
here some new stuff, i drew a portrait of a classmate.
i tried a new measurement to find the proportions...
i am really happy about the outcome^^

there are still mistakes as ear, eyes and some other things.

The portrait looks a bit messy but i drew it on toned paper and changed the contrast.

    c&c are welcome.

thought this might help, i dunno take it for what its worth.

also, on another note, remember to use line and not abuse it. This means that dont overwork stuff. Some stuff can be simple. Not everything needs to be shaded or may only need a slight shade. what im looking at is the guy with the sword: the anatomy and what not looks fairly accurate, but the image doesn't look that good because its smudgy and we lose the feel of action in the pose. Obviously he's action packed, but the smudgeness and a lack of flow causes some stagnance. remember to use line thickness as well.

    cheers,

    OHHH s.s.nails...
your help is great! your pic is very helpful, the perspevctive of her leg wasn`t good.
and the head was to big, this is a main problem of mine, i always think the head is to little.

i have to work on it.

ok and the tip to use line thickness is also great but how should i use this.
where i have to draw bigger lines for a movement like this...

the closer something is the larger the lines will be. Most drawing wont have a major impact with line thickness, but still try to keep it in the back of your head. Just expirement with everything, find what you like and what you dont.
    have fun,

Cool stuff! Just remember the basics, anatomy, perspective etc.
http://manganet.ma.funpic.de/joomla/...gfu_copy_1.jpg - This one shows you understand your anatomy, just try to keep your lines clean. Keep your pencil sharp man!
