Nice work mate, lovely grungy feel. Also, the one of heather is amazing. Finally, congrats on page 6!

Thank you, klips, I like the grungy thing once in a while. Heather herself seemed to like the picture, too. Yeah, page 6, too whoo-hoo.
here's one more along the photomanip. gunge lines.

whoa, no comments on this great last pic yet? LOVE IT! scanning the negative-strip with it adds a whole lot of athmosphere, but it's already a lovely photo all by itself. oh, and congrats on page 6 from me, too!

thank you, stine. I, too, was hoping for a little more response, since I really like this picture. But, I like mood, not everybody does. So thank you again for stopping by!

This is a bit too dark for me, so some of the impact is lost. A brighter and it'll have more shadow detail, and that will bring the photo to life more.

hey mike! really like that last one - i'm always a fan of simple photos. i really like the colors and that you included the garden hose. only tiny thing is that it maybe could use a little more contrast and a slightly tighter crop. imo photos like that can live with the point of interest (the window in this case) in the middle of the picture...

good work! hope your midterms etc. went well,
    all the best

    hey mike,
cool photo, love the colors and the textures in it - not too sure whether the plants are slightly distracting or adding a little more life, though. anyway, like it a lot!

Hi Stine, thanks for all your recent feedback. I was going for life, but I can see how it would be distracting. Matter of perspective I suppose. Thanks again.

hey mike! lovely update, really like "breaking through" - one thing i saw while it slowly uploaded (my dsl is kind of slow right now...): it looked even better when the lowest part wasn't visible yet. so maybe i would crop the roofs over the "u of a" sign. but as always: that's maybe a matter of taste. anyway, love how you "cut through" the lantern on the left...

Hi Stine, thank you very much for taking the time and commenting. I know exactly what you mean about the somewhat distracting elements at the bottom of the frame. I have also considered that crop. The reason I didn't, and maybe its hard to see in this size, is because then I think I'd lose some of those birds in mid-flight, which add some dynamism to the picture. Also I like to look at their trajectory as a sort of counterpoint to that odd drooping motion of the sky. I'm happy you noticed the lantern Thanks again, drop by any time.

I love Rainwalker, it's beautiful. Mind you I am a tad partial to photos with stop signs in them, but I'm sure it's more than that
How'd you get it.... [for lack of a better word] old looking?

Hi, Obsidian, thanks for the comments. I am not exactly sure what you mean by "old looking" but I shoot film, maybe it has something to do with that?

Ooooh film? No instant gratification?! I bow down to you
It might be something to do with that but your other photos don’t have that feel to them, oh dear me this is starting to bug me now, grrr.

And another question, in Painterly Clouds [which is lovely btw] is that a natural dark storm cloud at the top of the photo?
