    Woods

    I would like to see the inviroment in whcih people live, im lucky anoth to live in a town but it takes about 4 minits to get out in to the countryside. After looking at every one's pics i feel lucky that i can be in the mountins in 50 minits, in town in 2 minits, and at the beach in under 1 houre. Please can every one post a picture of there favert place to shoot a few shots off with there camera. (Local area with in 10 minuits of were you live) this is a woods i love to walk in, its about 5 minits in the car from my house..

    Beach like 5 minutes by bike. city like 3 minutes. We don't have any mountains but we have dunes. The environment here is just awesome.

    The picture is cool! Only the one horizontal tree in the foreground disturbs the composition a little bit.

    Nicely lit but there is no subject - nothing to draw your eye through the picture.

    Bill Beaton> thanks for you comments, i mainly took the picture because of the lighting. In away i do understand your point about the content, however the content was supposed to be the arangment or trees and the lighting, there was no other realy point to the picture. Its a picture of woods lol

    Hi Sam,

    Everyone already commented on the lighting; it's very nice. I like the soft sepia tone. I think the horizontal tree in the foreground is kinda cool, but have to agree that it is a little jarring. Also, and some may disagree on this, I think the white border is nice, but might be competing to much with the white birch-looking trees.

    Still trying to figure this photo deal out, but this was my initial impression.
