Lots of great stuff on the last page too--I love how you draw fire, you can just FEEL the heat. Plus, that robot is so cute~

    I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
    Only I will remain.

Loved the necrorun illustration a page back and the Cthulhu piece is quite awesome too. You have some great ideas in here. Could play around with the color more. Not that an almost monochromatic palette is bad, but some well chosen colors may add so much to a piece.

Welcome back to the cleansing repelling purgatory, where your soul and mind
will be furbished and replenished, as a matter of fact I already see huge steps
of improvements and lots of positive evolution within your sea skull shaped like
shell. I can surely tell that you made some changes in your approach from last
December, a positive flow toward the sun blasted window. You have a great gift
to render out certain surfaces, materials and to blend in textures very effectively,
I wish I could just gain some of your hidden powers, maybe just for one day.
The cosmic horror and the girl with the tentacle mouth pieces are great,
and you have some outstanding ideas, which will bring lots of fantastic characters
to life. In the meantime, you keep on doing studies and continue shining
bright just like you did before. You should never doubt in your abilities
and you should always bear the butcher knife together with the little
wooden carved statue of the blacksmith’s wife.

LtPlissken, you're probably being too kind, but thank you. Very appreciated.

Avon, thanks thanks. Mostly just googling.

I'm relatively new to character concept...

Eolita character concept is looking interesting, nicely stylized elongated
limbs, and I like the serious expression on the face. Is that the sword that
long beside his leg, or he has an extra bow on his back? If it’s the sword, than
it wouldn’t be really practical to use it because of its length. Watch for his
hand gripping the sword handle, it looks like the handle is behind his hand
and not gripping it. Try to use references for weapon gripping hands. I like
the chainmail that you did on the subject, but I would like the breast armor
to be just a bit bigger, cause it looks really tight on him this way.
Good work on the last environment, however composition vise, I would
make the image just a bit higher, cause one of the arm of that star is almost
reaching exactly the end of the canvas, which gives a strange feeling (crowded?).
Also the stormy snowy weather like this would make the star kind of alien
ship to look less visible, environment fogs and such would make the view more
diffused and foggy. Just some advices to take in consideration, I am not sure
how helpful I am. Overall you are doing great and nice progress can be
seen from piece to piece. Thank you for visiting my sketchbook, keep
up with the good things, cause if you wish everyone good, good
thing will happen to you also.
