Potter's "Invisibility Cloak" soon to be a reality

Scientiest believe it is possible to manufacture a "cloak" similiar to the one shown in the Harry Potter movies that would make the wearer become totally transparent. It could be ready in early as 18 months.

I know what I'd do with one of those!

Well, read a little closer.. A harry potter-like cloak will not be ready in 18 months, but a cloak that could mask microwaves and other forms of electromagnetic radiation.

    Still, exiting stuff..

They had similar technology ready for military use years ago, though it didn't steer light around the objects. It more or less projected light from millions of cells onto the other sides of the object, giving a Predator-like camoflauge. Worked damn well too.

Cool, that sounds even like the cloak that takes a picture with nano technology and projects it onto the otherside, possibly the same thing that romance is talking about.
