After slobbering over a post full of fantastic work by Jason Chan over in finally finished, I decided to try something a bit closer to his style of rendering just to see if I could. Well, I think I missed his rendering style, but I'm rather pleased with the results anyway.
But as always I'm looking for ways to get better, so I'm posting it here for any advice on pushing it further.
the perspective on the face and head of this character are wrong the mouth eyes and nose are all following differnt lines ... a little like hes been beat up and what realy makes this obvious is the highlight on the hood .. its very strait and doesnt seem to fit the angle of his head ... did you add more hight to the top of his head at some point ... i think you could shave it down and give it more shape and it would look better
