and I realized that some people are able to pick up their pen while painting and the paint didnt overlap! HOW? I dunno, because im used to every time i pick up my pen and go over that same area it just gets darker and makes it look ugly and unclean.
- turn off pen pressure in the brush palette
- a hard brush gives even strokes and sharp edges
- brush blending mode usually set to "normal" so you don't get the build up effect like what you were getting
In the sample you linked up to...If you plan on doing a lot of flat coloring I personally find it efficient to use a lasso or wand to select and filling it with with bucket, as opposed to brushing in for the big spaces.
i didn't undertstand about blending, i can't find it.
i mean the more softer the brush the bigger blending, but is it possible to do it on a hard brush? can you blend so you won't have darkerharp line what the brush opacity is less than 100%?
