Artiphats : Ray's School and Personal artwork
After finishing a Perspective class, Drawing class, and some CA Activities, I thought I would finally start a thread to post it all in, along with some other art junk from time past. I will try and update at least once a week, with new school work, practice stuff, and whatever else I come up with to post. All of your comments and crits are welcome. Thanks for looking, see you on the other side of the paintbrush (or Wacom, Pencil, or whatever)
Here is my CHoW #27, I'll post some of the original sketches I drew for it later. Eventually I will only put sketched and WIP's here, but I worked all day on this and haven't added anything to my sketchbook lately.

Here are a couple really old paintings, terribly scanned and puzzled back together. Both are airbrushed acrylics on illustration board.

OK Here is some recent school stuff, nothing fantastic but got the assignments done while getting in some good practice.

ha, thanks for the good word. both of those 3CH entries actually got good feedback, at this point my digital rendering skills have much to be desired, so I have to be as clever as possible with my concepts in order to avoid being totally ignored, lol.
My Geisha was posted in the Crit and Comment section, thanks to everyone who helped show me the mistakes, I am reworking her and will post updates later.

this is one of the most insane sketchbooks I've ever seen on here. Wild man...absolutely wild! Nice work on the portraits, they look solid.
A note on perspective stuff... if you place the VPs WAAAAAaay off the page, or crop them out of the final image, you can really minimize the distortion you see. I general, only having one VP actually 'on' the canvas makes things look more accurate...not sure why..
nice work !

Hey, Artiphats, all your images show the same image only (a picture of a lighted freeway), check it out & let me know when it's fixed so I can take a look at your images all together.
