I like the way you handled the cone, it is nice and clean, try to get the cleansliness (if thats a word) in your pencil sketches too.

hey man....its nice stuff, one thing ive learned in pencil sketches is to push your darks even darker....and keep your lights light. make the darkest places in your drawings as dark as the pencil will make them....contrast is good. dont be scared of black...and make your lines defined...you'll see that it will make you better than even you think you are........i hope i helped.

Whoa, what's this? Not an update! No Way! Don't worry though, I won't make a habit of it.

    assorted nonsense
this is actually an idea my dad put together a couple years ago but he wanted me to re-imagine it. As you can probably tell, it's a compact iPod that uses SD memory and features a projection screen instead of a traditional LCD.

After some thought and ideas that got thrown out, I arrived at this design.
    assorted nonsense
It has less volume but because of better organization retains space for all essential components and a second SD slot.

    Here are some more images.

After that was done I throught about packaging. Even though Apple would probably just put it in the same box as every other iPod I went ahead and came up with some different ideas anyways. I narrowed them down to these three.

At this point I settled on #2 because of cost effectiveness and because it was really easy to model in 3D.

There you go. One update to go, no onions. Be sure to stop back next year for more update fun!

saw when you updated on the new posts menu, I sure am working hard tonight, not dicking away on the internet

"this is a book" = classic, me and nick talked to the prof who teaches section 2 after class and apparetnly we aren't suposed to have the books between light source and viewer because it makes the cast shadows illogical. Apparently in ID they never want us to have the cast shadow facing the viewer. I though I'd throw that out there even though I have no idea what's going on with that asignment.
