T-DOME: Last Man Standing FINAL ROUND

    Finally.

The Last Man Standing Thunderdome has finally come to the last showdown of the event after 10 excruciatingly long months. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible... artists who gave up their free time to jump into the chaos that this event that promised nothing other than a good time. Oh, and keep a look out if you are interested in jumping into the next LMSTD, it's coming very soon...

Unfortunately resident art monster Dan Milligan has just been absolutely swamped in the last month preparing for E3, so understandably he wasn't able to participate. I want everyone to give Dan a huge friggin' hand, because if you've been watching this dome from the beginning you know he's been bringing some amazing pieces to the table consistantly round after round.

So, that leaves two finalists to battle it out in our final round: steak-tron vs JasonChan. Without further ado, what we've all been waiting for...

    Woosh!

I want dan milligans too (I'm spoiled!)

Nice works, I like Jason's better though. Way too much black in Steak-tron's.

    SWEET!
Steak - that's hysterical and your execution is a delight!
Jason - such mood and depth...my eyes sip this like a fine wine.
Dan - nothing but love for ya....

    LMSTD2 - I'm there!
    Cheers and bravo!

I felt like it took forever waiting for this t dome to arrive!
Some great pieces the both of you!!! !

Very lovely! I feel for Dan, I'm very sure he would have loved to be a part of this, but E3 does call!

Aside from this really awesome! I love the overall quirkiness in steak-tron's piece. it leaves you thinking of the next step.

There is a certain beautiful woe in Jason chan's piece that i love. I would have not expected any less from the both of you!

hee! Rock it! You guys are too cool. :3 but my vote goes for Jason! :3 I guess I am a fan! (I guess it's just me but I kind of wish it would have been more finished.. then again I bet there is a lot going on for ya right now) >3

Phew! It's over! Man, that was a crazy year of t-domes!

Yeah, I wish I could have finished this up more - I've been swamped with deadlines and I'm actually in the middle of finals right now. Steak doesn't have it much better either. He's been pretty busy himself.

    Hope you guys like

I just sent Cody my votes (I wanted to do it quick before I read people's replies) so I wont comment on these two pieces yet, but...

HUGE round of applause for everyone took their time to enter this competition. And a HUGE round of applause to Cody. It's been a blast to follow! The images are amazing, the topics were inspired....Great fun and awesome work all around.

That is fantastic. So far my vote would go to Steak-Tron, though both images are amazing! I'm going to take a further deep look at them now

Hhahah... great stuff guys. I love the mood and broodiness of Jason's. But the humor in Steak's stands out as well. Both good executions in two different ways.

First off, let me congratulate Steak and Jason. Killer pieces as usual. And in the same breath let me apologize to you guys as well. I hope my no show hasn’t tainted this for you. It shouldn't, you guys kicked ass! All though I do these Thunderdomes for fun and friendship I take my commitment seriously. It could not come at a worst time. I’m very sorry
And let me thank the CA community in general. Thanks for all the encouragement and critiques. GOOD TIMES!
and finally, a huge hug and kiss to Cody for his tireless effort on this monster. Much love

    Peace
    Dan

Both pieces are marvelous! Great work guys, for being the ones last standing! I can't decide which one I like more, both are so great...! I love the depth (the room itself) and lighting of Steak's pic, love the dramatic settings and colors of Jason's pic... and deep down I wish you guys had a couple of more days to get them properly finished off! And that Dan could have submitted something as well

my vote is for chan's, even though i doubt that it matters.
both are cool, but steak-tron's has some figurative problems for me on the guy lying on the couch.
that guys looks like he's supposed to be lying face up, according to his pants, but the upper body gets really confusing and i can't stop staring at it. (sorry)
he looks to be twisted at the torso with his head almost facing down, although after alot of looking it's most likely supposed to be going to the side.
but the arm on our right on this guy is so high up it doesn't look right with his positioning.

plus i really like the mood in chan's better anyway, but both very well done especially for both of you being swamped with other things!
