    Working on my website...

Right. So our latest assignment in my Advanced Survey of Computer Art Applications class is to make a portfolio website for ourselves. I've come up with a design I rather like, but my teacher pointed out something that I kind of felt as I was going along-- it's a bit too...cute to be professional. It'll do in terms of the project, but I want something that I can use once I leave this class, since using my deviantart account as a portfolio is hardly a good career move.

So I turn to you folks at conceptart for any suggestions on what I can do to make my website a bit more professional looking. The only things I really want to try and keep are the logo and the pink scheme, because I do want my site to be a little girly. (For this layout anyway.) Other than that, rip it apart. Thanks in advance!

P.S. Only the illustration and contact links work right now because my resume is pitiful and I haven't gotten the chance to scan any of my sketchbook work yet.

Ya know, I think that just may be it. Would you suggest that I use a different, heart-less font for the logo as well, or just nix the hearts from the rest of the layout?
