Facial features are very tight, excellent control of your pencil. Are these referenced from photos?

Nice work, all I can say is you need a better scanner because some of the shading is being lost because of it.
This pics remind me of Seven Samurai.

Sundance > Thanks you. Yes I use pictures for reference.
Jarri > I guess you're right about the scanner, but i used textured paper, thats why the shading might look a bit weird. Thank you.

That last one is inspiring, such grace! The color one seems a bit fuzzy though. I really like the lines on the second geisha.
This is a fun place to be, keep it up!

Commendable work, Nuno. When did you first get into to drawing oriental figures?

Hi Vulgar. Thank you for your comment.
I've been interested on feudal Japan for about ten years, i think. But i've only started working on it more "seriously" about 5 or 6 years ago.

Hi. These works are not recent.
This first one is a sketch for a pirates story. Unfinished, but didn't really do anything else with it.
Another of my oriental theme drawings.
This one was for a contest. First (and only) time i drew Batman in my life
An archangel called Chinjiniel, creation of a friend.

Another archangel, i don't remember the name of this one. The wings are crap and that left arm still doesn't convince me:

COntramundi, muito obrigado pelo teu comentario. Ja experimentei fazer algumas BD's curtas, mas o resultado ainda esta muito aquem das minhas expectativas. Ainda tenho muito que aprender e melhorar
A couple of sketches i did, not long ago, about The Silmarillion, the characters Maedhros (on top) and Turin (bottom).

Yet another sketch from The Silmarillion, this time Beleg. Never finished it though.
Working on the colours but not happy with the results, so stopped. Acrylics
