A few sreencaps i did last week.
I seriously need some advice cause i'm getting really frustrated with this.
My digital paintings always look too muddy and flat. I'm also having problems with the edges.

Dude!! I envy your pencil renders...Super! And it's always good to see Bowie One of my fave drawings of yours is the guy sat down with a little piano. He reminds me of Schroeder from Charlie Brown/Peanuts..but all grown up

Unfortunately I can't offer any advice in digital painting, as I am just starting myself. But keep at it. You're doing so well!

    All the best!

Damn nice pencil studies, have you tried http://www.ctrlpaint.com/ for tutorials? It helped me erase lines I was dependent on before so the tuts could probably help you with your edges
The link is right there, its ok to press. Any help/advice is appreciated.

Those pencils are incredible! Your digitals are great as well. Sorry, no crits, I'm nowhere near your level.

Saw Toshiro Mifune in the thread thumbnail; had to take a look. Great work! Nice rendering.
    ...which is only my opinion.
