The Chasm of Uninspiredness *sigh*
Hi all you creatives,
its been long since my last post - meanwhile had to recreate my id due to probs with the server here i remember .... couldnt sign in nor reset password.
Well the downbeat got me and I have no clue of whatsoever I could draw/paint (i m a traditional one lol) and maybe you can help me, post the first word that comes to your mind or any inspirational ideas .... i feel empty.
It pisses me off I havent got a reply regarding my applications from January (Wizards of the Coast) and March (Cosmos Mag), will write and complain, is it normal they don't answer?
Not a good politic for world leaders in hobby gaming. Bad Corporate ID. Sigh!

as for writing and complaining to wizards of the coast, unless you're a steady hire for them, i wouldn't recommend it. i personally haven't ever gotten an art contract, due in large to the fact that i'm still learning the legal parts and i haven't put myself out there but it just seems like common sense not to piss and moan about a reply when i'm sure WotC gets at least a few portfolio submissions a day.
just my 2cents.

Well I am not going to mock or complain in a harsh way - sorry if it sound like so - but in the end it takes time, material and so on to gather your portfolio and all I request is at least a standardised (?) letter like 'sorry but not what we re looking for'-mass mail thingy.
Being a GD by trade I worked for firms and we always had something the like to tell applicants that we're happy to receive feedback (resume ect.) but found someone else or whatever.
Its a question of business and the public 'face' of a firm, even if its a huge one receiving loads of stuff, then again why employ a special art dept. if they don't care about such things? Just thinking it's their job after all.
