i have a question to ask...
i wanted to model this character just to hone my skillz at moedllin in max
so i drew this model sheet for the head
the problem is
the eyes are set too far back
and the mouth too
am sure this will happen in the body model sheet
i have attached pics to elaborat more on wat i mean
thanx in advance
looks like to me you just need to move your verts to wrap them around to the sides. I don't see any problems with the sheets you're working off of.
This often happens when you start modeling in the front viewport and don't check back enough on the view from the side. You'll notice that the nose and mouth don't wrap around enough either. The mesh looks pretty good, just need to adjust your verts/loops from the side to match the image.
so what is the question?
the question is
i gave it to a friend to model it
he compressed the face to the side tellin me that
it needs the eye to be drawn forwards a bit in the side view
cuz it compresses the face to the side
Personally i'm with Ogle, there isnt a problem with your drawing, your friend has just modelled as if the face was flat on all sides, as can be noticed by how sharp the chin is and how the lips dont pull back at all.
Sorry if that didnt make much sense. It might be worth telling your friend to model the eyeballs first as a guide for the curvature
Still no question?
