Really nice SB you have here. It's been a pleasure browsing back through. Rarely do I see someones work who has a strong sense of mechanical design and char design, but I would like to see some interaction between the two. Cool stuff man. Keep it goin..

your ship derigns from a while back are totally rad. looking really professional even if you wouldn't say so. and landscape colorstudies are very moody, too.
badass selfportrait man.. I'm actually trying hard not to mention everything you posted ;P . last one is giving me the creeps, though. hehe. great work, I'll be waiting for the next updates.

    Clochette: Khan is grateful.

MonkeYoakum: Thanks a lot. Yeah, that's the plan, once I feel more confident with techy stuff.

Flaskpost: Thanks a lot, you're welcome any time!

    Quinn Simoes: Hey Quinn, cheers!

monotony: Thanks a lot, means much to me!

Ok, this is how I spend my lunch breaks when I stop painting; I do some more painting.. But it's really good to distract from other work and it's a good way of relaxing while you're learning. These, again, are pure color studies.
    Hope You guys like it,
    Khan

wow, I was drawn here by the image you use as your icon.. I believe it was published in Exotique 3 along side my own. eheheh! But gorgeous stuff in this sketchbook.. your industrial environments blow my goddamned socks off.. I can only dream of one day being able to produce anything to that quality. Amazing. And the rendering on the love your pets poster is nothing short of amazing too, especially the fur.. its fab to see someone who actually thinks about how the fur connects to the body.

And I love you for the fact you hated eragon for the titular hero of the same name. Your design is SO much better.

    Deep Sh*t!!
Wow men, that's some way to go. You know I have lots of trouble doing thumbnail environments (big ones too), do you copy this ones from pictures?
One other thing, about atmospheric perspective, do you sample the color from the sky and then use it over... let's say... the mountains? or you calculate the color in some way?

    Gypsies

    Call0ps: Thanks a lot!

    koshime: Thanks Chee!

    algenpfleger: vielen herzlichen Dank!

zweiDee: Hey Diego, glad you like that one. Now it's your turn to make some, huh?!

zephyri: Duude! Yeah, I realised our paintings are next to each other in Exotique. Loving yours!

lennon: Hey there! I take a photo from web put it next to my canvas and than try to match the colors, not caring too much about the perspective and proportion in order to get the colors and values down first. And no, I don't color pick anything, using color mixer as a palette. Thanks a lot for praise!

Quinn Simoes: Thanks! Nice progress, btw.

RandAlThor: Hi and thanks. Well, with these, I only try to match what I see at the photos.

    koppa: Cheers!

DeJakhalz: Thanks a lot, means a lot to me when hearing that I'm getting better.

Robert.B: Hey bro, what's up? Yeah, I'm killing myself in the moment. Actually, I don't have time for these sketches but I feel that my actual work gets better with sketching. Thanks though..

Ok, here is something I really enjoyed doing. It's for my friends who make Gypsy-Punk and who asked me to make a cover for their cd. They are one of my favourite bands, they are my friends and I got a chance to cover their CD. Now, how cool is that? The first image is how I wanted it to be but we ended up doing it in bluish tones due to the wish of the record company. It's ok but not as the purple version.
    Hope you fellahz like it,
    Khan

It's so sweet, love this colour. Though I love both the original and the fixed version, I guess it's about how colour shows people what the music is about. The environment thumbnail is awesome as well, sorry for my misunderstanding.

    Great job!!!!
