Very cool. Love the composition, and the big solid black shape balanced with the detailed side. Sweet.

Love the rpgcon pic from previous post a lot. It has nice mood - you can feel the snow and the adventure Only crit would be that you can't really tell what's going on with his right leg, and if the white outline is the leg - whole figure looks like it's falling viewers right.

Other than that - great thread. Keep updating

the hand thats resting on her pants looks awkward. I think it might just be cause her arm is completely straight.

    Howdy ho Davey jones!

Your rendering style is great, good knowledge of light and darks. However, you should experiment more with different saturations and hues.... Especially hues! Right now your paint stuff looks flat and generic because your using the same hues of different saturations. Don't do that good sir, throw some warms and cools to really give some flavor to your characterizations/paintings. Now, I wasn't going to mention this, but I will because im in an ass in a hat. The biggest thing you seem to be suffering from is weight. Ok ok if you thought I meant that physically, then go eat a sammich or something, if you really grasp what im saying is relating towards your artwork, then good! Generally you have a natural ability for applying great compositions to your work, perspectives are also working. But when your characters are floating around in space weightless, that kinda kills the flow if you get what I mean. Now what I mean by weightlessness, is that characters should act as real as possible, even if its a cell shaded style piece. Objects on the character depending on the relative weight should burden them a bit, shifting their weight more towards the ground. Remember that their legs and back support the body weight

What id like to see, and too save you from a couple of mickey spankings: life studies and concentrate on weight (sitting down, leaning, huge fat guy eating a giant sausage you name it). Again, you have some good dynamics so as far as that goes, its not really a HUGE priority but again.... everything is!

Cheers, hope you can understand what I just typed up
    ~Mickey

lmao, another drawing session day with Dan huh? Is that suppose to be you on the right and other dave on the left (Just a guess, don't kill me please )

Characters seem to be a bit well "Grounded" I suppose, still kinda feather weight but I can already see some form of balance. Good, keep it up!
