love the force im seeing in those arms and legs. Good job, those studies have a lot of character for just being studies. There tense, but believable.

Showing a lot of technique with the studies and the muscles are highly stylized. Somehow I don't neccarily believe the second boxer, his back seems mismanaged in terms of anatomy and is mostly not finished. Were you trying to put yourself out by using brown paper?

cout<mecha: Thanks, couple of the lines on the back were off by a little but other than that nothin major that I can see w/ref next to it. Not sure what you mean by put myself off though, I use the brown paper because I like drawing on a medium toned paper so I can use colored pencils/markers.

Coinpurse: Thanks man, yea, been doing a lot of anatomy lately... Its fun though

kidult: haha, yea it works for me. Thanks a lot!

Tallnskrony: Sure thing man, where abouts are you in NH? I live up here too

agelaos: Thanks duude! Keep movin on your studies too, who cares bout the schoolin if youre not learnin ehhh?????

algenpfleger: Thanks man, get back to yours, keep bustin ass.

    Kurjuus: thank you!

Shalite: Thank you, I think the paper helps them look cool for the most part haha.

RandAlThor: Thanks, I'll keep em comin

    DARAF: Thanks!

kelly x: Theyre not really perfect , I wish they were. All the little subtle shapes can easily get misplaced... Thanks!

    Todays boxer studies, too rushed

Hey man, awesome work. For the boxer studies, are they from photos, imagination, or a little of both? Just curious

Hey, I know this was probably asked before, my apologies, but if you're working in photoshop, what's the opacity you use for your brushes and any additional info? I've been working in photoshop for awhile, but I'm still a bit of a n00b and I really admire what you can pull out of your speed paintings and studies. Speaking of which, great study work, with the hands and arms. Those are my most challenging areas.

Mr. D, I really enjoyed that short motivation quote. Rusted nails of wisdom indeed. And all the cheese got to me to, definitely hitting home on the points of doing things now or never doing them. Good stuff...including all your badass pictures, haha.

midknight523: oohh, yea maybe haha, thanks!

Kerberos: Thanks man, glad you got somethin outta it

    EtherRain: Thanks!

    monsi: Thank you

Darlene: thanks! I just use a hard round for studies with dynamics turned on and I sketch at 40% with 40 spacing. Other than that I work with 80%-100%. Nothing crazy unless I work with textures...

JohntheBomb: They're just from photos so I can review muscle structure in use after my sketchbook studies. Helps me solidify what I've learned. Thanks!

Victor B: Thanks man, glad you like em!

didnt get to spend too much time on these, got a lot to do today!

Love em! Are you painting the lights the same color like the ref or do you invent your own mood?
