Summer is coming (finally, hurrah!) leaving me a plenty of time to use, so I thought this is a great idea to keep me drawing every day and hopefully gain some new skills to use as well...hmm
Oh yes, the best part. Today´s work:
This is a new style to work on- I have no color knowledge at all and this far I´ve just used colors that could look good together..I´m interested at learning color theory, but I don´t know where to start. Does enyone know some good books or places on the web what I could use?
The next picture I´m making. Looks cartoony. Early sketches:
Last few days:
I used ref for these two, just to practise shading ect. The first one is Jovovich (hope I typed it right) and second, well, fishes :
Have a nice day,
wow, awesome stuff! the kid on the robot is my favourite (great expression!), but your last two are amazing. are you working with photoshop or painter? anyway, can't help you with the color theory, cause i haven't study that much of it. maybe google "johannes itten" ?! but there'll be plenty of people who can help you better than me. looking forward to new posts, really great work!
The linework is clean and nice. And the colors are really getting me in the atmosphere easily.
Just post more !!!
stine: Thank you! I´m use Painter these days, but recently I´ve had some major problems with that program, so the pictures what I posted last time were made using Oekaki-board
Recursive_End: Thanks. I try to post more.
Ok. Nude-drawing day. Posting ones what I did with Wacom and Painter. Ref used as well.
And odd thoughts:
Im off to bed.

Polonoid: I'm glad you like and actually i've been planning to write and illustrate a children's book one day, it's one of my very top dreams as well.
Andy P: Thanks
chr!z: thx. I may have the base-knowledge when it comes to color, I use tones what in my opinion looks good- but it would be great to know why different colors look good together, what kind of color a shadow have in different light and that sort of things.
Here's another doodle:
Very cute sketchings
I like the feel of your last image.
Great job on the painting exercises aswell.
Your sketches look very fluent and clean.
