    Doin' Time

Just out of plain ol' curiosity, have any of you been to jail or even prison? Anybody brave enough to out themselves as "Pen" pals?

Is that why I didn't see you at life drawing last night? They had two good models so you should have tried to get the day pass again.

(and no, no jail time. Basically a "good kid" but I think like many that staying out of jail when I was younger may partly be from luck)

No, but I did have an incident once.

I was getting off of football practice in high school. And I was going to meet my friend's house after to hang out with a bunch of the guys. I was hungry so I bought donuts or everyone. As I come around the corner to my friend's house on my bike, I see a police car. Apparently my friend's had a run in with a group of guys. When I went to go see what was up, an officer stepped right in my way, grabbed me by the arm and led me to his car. Just saying "get in, NOW!" So I get in the car, not knowing what the hell is going on. I asked if I did something wrong, and he said "do you thing this is some kind of fucking joke?" I was super confused, and then be pointed to my bag of donuts. Without being able to get a word in he accused me of insulting him and his fellow officer by bringing the donuts as a 'prank'. So while my friends were writing thier police statements, he made me write out a formal apology to him and his partner, or else I would have to go to the police station and they would call my guardians.

To this day, I have a hard time talking to police.

Ha, the first two responses are from Albertans - go figure.

Craig D - Dammit, I wanted to go to the double model session too. Did it get steamy , lol . Yeah, couldn't make it, too damn busy with my COW entry and pre-workshop stuff. I might go Friday evening if your interested and if the warden will give me a day-pass.

Interceptor - LOL. Awsome story. I can't say I would have written the apology. I would have been too pissed. Oh, did you get to eat the evidence?\

I have found myself in a squad car a couple of times. One was for firecrackers in the middle of the night when I was a kid. The other was a lift by the LAPD to a party... good times.

No jail time though, but there was a point in my life where I was heading in that direction. Put my head on straight after that.

Ilaekae, you wouldn't have posted a response if you didn't want to tell us

Would this be the story of you and a stilletto? or is that another tale altogether?
