Ah! Its an update!
Cool stuff. The lines are much better and so is the rendering. Big improvement .
Thanks for an already good start to the book guys. Today is some shit without ref and a slightly older one I forgot to post.
i fear this kid... just turned 15. may not be michelangelo but who is? definitely not michelangelo.
You need to stick with just one sketchbook Dummy. =P
Good start, now bring on tha ANATOMY!!!!
After being unable to scan for a few weeks I finnaly got it to work about a week before school was over. During finals week I was studying the entire time so I couldnt draw and by the time I could actually scan all the stuff I did looked like shit already. So im starting fresh here, on a new stream of updates. Cheeeers.
Hey, really cool man, great lines in the polar bear sketch. I think I would recomend you doing some portraits to study the face, seems as that's an area you're afraid of from times.
Keep it up, the girls are looking sexy! ,)
Its not so much that im afraid of faces as much as that... whenever I try to do a study and include the face I just focus on it the entire time, get frustrated and the study looks like crap. I put off faces for a bit of time to study the rest of the body but will definatly be doing more faces in the near near future. For today though is some, yes, i think, yah, think it is, yes, crap.
Man this thread is a treat.
I am a huge fan of your texture. But one Thing I gotta say is update frequently.THe last updates are just great.Take care and keep posting.
not bad at all for a 15 yr old chap!
What I could see you working on is lineweight and accuracy. The hatching is done really well but it doesn't define the form as much as it should. Along with the even lineweight, I see mostly really nice hatchings and a silhouette. I can see you have good control already so all you need to work on is structure.
That pig with the rockets looks like he's ready to roll!
Master- Thanks, youre right about the shading I really gots to step it up a notch.
Sorry for the cheapo update, just some oc. Bringing more soonsies.
30 minute sketch of a lawyer... Shit
Alright, starting to sketch more and scanning everything. Resolution. Seriously. I mean it. Really this time. Srsly. Portrait is refed.
Ready the FUZZIES.
Skull got all kinds of fucked up in the scan, looks even shittier on nyah.
Cool animal studies, light. The faces are all 'cutified'. I'd love to see some rendered out a bit more, but looking good as it is.
Maybe a few realistic studies too, just for a change? (or to gratify my animull lovin' tendencies...)
love the updates... but you know what!? you need to show MOREE!!! grrr hahaha
great stuff light... you have such a sweet style that i enjoy much. hehhe - more girls too please!

Matt- Argh sorry, Im just so lazy on updates
Bhanu- thanks, will do
Some shit from ref.
I really love the look of you paper sketches. They feel so much more precise and planned then your digital stuff, even if its unintentional. Kudos.

I wonder what stuff you'll be doing some years in the futures. Gonna be interesting ;D
Hi, light! First post of the newly formed Trés Cuté SB Group!!!
The orange haired pirate girl color choices are awesome. And that puppy head is tooooo cute for me to stand. I will have to squish it.
I would just suggest doing more internal fixing up lines before you lay in the darker outlines on things. You're really creating a great style here and you're getting close to pro level!
Bluemech- Yah, its been a while since I rendered fully but im trying to keep the studies quick. Will keep it in mind for next couple studies tho.
Blue- Yah, I figure my pencils are better then my digital, even tho that aint saying much
Mortem- Thanks, I wonder too
Goo- Thank you, you're right about the underdrawings, will remember that.
For now, here is a quick sketch, unrefed for once.
