    Wolverine (UPDATED: scroll down)

I know this might not be as impressive as some of the pieces you see on conceptart.org but I thought it might be worthy for some people to have a gander hope you like it.

nice work, his left ear kind of seems like its floating to me, maybe throw a strand or two of hair over it to give it some depth.

It's an okay piece overall. For me though, the way his mouth is holding that cigar looks very comical. As I scrolled down I saw his eyes and thought, "Pretty cool." Then I got to the mouth and chin, and I thought,"Whoa! That's a little ridiculous!" Get some reference for the mouth. Clint Eastwood always looks cool holding a cigar.

thanx for those comments. i will for sure try to put some hair over the ear. i think it would make sense. I agree jfwalls, clint eastwood held a cigar like no other. I wish he wasnt so old, he would have made the perfect wolverine (at age 30-40).

I'd rework the face from the nose down.
My browser loaded the pic up to his nose, and I had to scroll to see the rest.
I was dissappointed when I did.
Top half looks very good, only the ear needs some work idd.

Very cool. Put more line movement is his beard, too much the same direction. Look at real beards.

zeragloth - Thanx for the critique. I am considering doing just that. I like what I have but I did exagerate it in a comedic way :p. I think I will use clint eastwood as my reference.

rondo - haha thanx a lot

markwagner - very true. when i rework the bottom i will do just that. thank you
