Anatomically Incorrect Woman Breaks The Audio-Visual Barrier...

...As the artist sees his mistakes and begins to curse aloud.

Actually "finished" but since this stuff is experimental as always, this is probably the correct place...

Drawn/inked with black markers, slightly cleaned and colored in Photoshop.

the compression reduces the quality of the lines alot. This would be a good piece to do in Illustrator if you have access to it. The flames on the left are a bit raggety and give a construction paper feel. Study some tattoo art, especially Albie Rock, he's got some great flamework. As for the woman, go with more of a viking ship style, lose the arms and stylize the hair similairly to a 'better' flame.

Hm... For me the point (or one of them) of doing this stuff is that it IS "construction paper" (well, not quite but it does have texture that the ink seeps in). Sort of getting back to basics with no tech involved. It's only colored digitally, but I don't even do that most of the time. The compression artifacts, if any, come from the fact the image was "scanned" with a digital camera. :-/ Doing this at a military base so my gear is rather minimal.
