You don't need one, just stick the pencils between your boobs.

actually that looks like a good idea...

i'd just take some elastic banding and sew it to a piece of elastic cloth... sew little strips where you want the pencils to be... it'd be pretty easy

i bought myself and Floris one.

if i were to give the secret away, i think i wanna get some sort of credit!!

They're called the 'Sidekick' and it's made by Uncle Mike's

    or Michels of Oregon.

They're basically wristband cartridge holders. For things like .223 or .226 or .308 caliber rifle rounds.

    http://www.hoppes.com/adtemplate.asp...catky2=2000072

if you look, there's also a version meant for pistol rounds. it's the same diameter loop, though it's shorter, so it's better for clipping mechanical pencils and such.

Floris mentioned that he saw Andrew with this thing on his arm, and i immediately knew what he was talking about. i've been using thing same thing for years, for my figure drawing classes and such.

i wish it would be appropriate to say, "You people are so fucking sheltered."

meh. hope you folks get one and enjoy yourself!

Imma hardcore art maker, I sharpen both ends of the pencil and shove one end up into my fingernails. It turns out just as convinient as anything any of you guys could up with.

Trying to make one for fun, and well screwed it up, but here's the super cheap method of doing it, get a sock cut it to size and cut small holes for the pencils.

Oh and while i'm at it, my new pencil case, aka. old mousepad.

Check it. It differs slightly from Android's—it only holds six, for example—but it is fab. If you have scrawny wrists, like me, you'll find the flap of extra fabric a little annoying, so it's best to stitch an extra inch or so of velcro loops onto it to hold that part down. Also, the pencil (or bullet, ) loops are wide. Take this into consideration, as col-erase pencils will NEVER EVER fit in them (well, the middle four, at least). This is all easily remedied with sewing.

Other than that, it works very well. Everyone else found it cool, and laughed their asses off when I told them it was meant to hold bullets. Said one person "that's hardcore."

That's what they get for never having seen a gun in their life.

No seriously, there's all kinds of magical things you can do with things that were originally intended for use with/as some kind of firearm. I have a .223 shell that I used on occasion to hold my charcoal when it got nubby, and unweildy. Also, ammunition canisters are great for everything, ever.

Of course, when you're really hardcore, your pencils float around you like a halo. And you don't draw with your hand. You draw with mind bullets.

    That's telekinesis, Kyle.

There can be also small sketchbook holder (on the other arm for exaple) so that you don't have to search it the bag .
