    Destroyed Wacom

My dog destroyed my Wacom tablet pen. Yup, snapped the thing right in two. Now I know what these things look like on the inside! I need a replacement pen. It's a Wacom Graphire4. A new pen is $41 CAD. Does anyone have an old wacom graphire that they are no longer using? Are you willing to sell the pen? I know it sounds kinda strange, but I might as well ask.

    Thanks.

Look on e-bay, while tablets sell more than they are worth on E-bay, I think you should get a new pen easily enough.

We just replaced all our demo tablets about 2 weeks ago. When I go into work next I will see if we have any of the old pens left for you. And I will send you one ASAP.

Thanks Interceptor. Both my Wacom tablets (at work & home) are 4x5". Kinda small. So I may buy a 6x8" Graphire4. It's $220, but I'm thinking the larger size might be nice.

    Bummer:

Aiee that's awful - I hope a dog or similar did that!

You could also try medium size tech importers with a mostly online presence as they seem to stock things like tablet paraphenalia rather cheap.

Hmm, my Intous I pen wouldn't work with newer Intous models...so if you do pick one up, be careful about the model.

if you go to intuos north american site's online shop, you can see which pens are compatible. I just ordered an intuos2 classic pen to replace my damaged one. Total price plus shipping was almost as much as a new graphire4 4x5.

from what I recall of the site, all the intuos pen's are not compatible with different generations, but most of the grapphires are.
